Dear Millbridge Families,

Thank you for your support in gathering school supplies and filling out back-to-school paperwork.  We know the start of the school year can be a massive project for parents.  

Back to School Nights

Our Back-to-School Nights are being held at 7:00 on the following evenings:

Tuesday, September 13th: Pre-K, Kindergarten, T-1, Mrs. Cahill, Mrs. Lobaza and Mrs. McCall’s 2nd Grade

Thursday, September 15th: 1st and 2nd grade classes (except Mrs. McCall’s class)

6:45- Building Opens:

  • Mrs. Lowe and Mr. Karakashian will be at the main entrance to welcome you to our school.

7:00-8:00 Classroom Presentations

  • A brief video presentation will be shown with important information about school procedures and information about the special area classes your child attends.

  • Immediately following that presentation, your child’s teacher or teachers will provide an overview of their classroom.

Basic Skills and RTI Informational Session

On Thursday, September 15th at 6:15, there will be an informational session for parents and guardians who received notification that their child would be receiving additional support. Only parents that receive a letter informing them that their child was selected for this support should attend. For students that attended Millbridge last year, the determination was made using the end of year scores. For new students, assessments have been started and you will be notified upon their completion if your child qualifies for additional support.

Early Pick-ups

Parents, please remember if you need to pick your child up early, please arrive by 3:10 to sign out in the main office.  Otherwise, it is very busy in the main office and you might get delayed in bus dismissal lines.  Thank you for your help with this.


Reminder- Beginning of the Year Paperwork

If you have not completed your beginning of the year paperwork, we would greatly appreciate if you could do so and return the forms on Monday. Also, please be sure your emergency contact information is up-to-date on the parent portal. There is a feature that allows you to select the phone numbers that you would like us to call, opt in to receive text messages (standard text messaging rates apply) and select emails that are used when notifications are sent by the school or district. If your address has changed, you will need to go to our BOE office with two proofs of residency to have the information updated.

Breakfast Begins

Our breakfast program begins this week. Breakfast can be ordered for the upcoming week or a standing order can be placed. Please note, if your student(s) was eligible for free or reduced pricing last year, she or he  will remain on that status until October 1st. Please call Mrs. Fiorangela Hummel at extension 3027 with questions.

PTA Info

The Delran Elementary PTA welcomes back returning and new families to our community! Please stop by our table at the up coming Back to School nights. Membership envelopes will be available, plus we will have laptops available to sign up for the student directory.

As a reminder if you would like to be included in the student directory or be considered for room parent, you must sign onto the PTA website and go to the Membership and Forms tab and follow the links. The deadline for room parent is September 19th. The deadline for the student directory is September 23rd.

Fast Pass information

We will begin taking pictures for Fast Passes next week.  Please see the schedule below.

  • Students with the last name beginning A - I- Tuesday, September 13th

  • Students with last name J - R - Wednesday, September 14th

  • Students with the last name S - Z- Thursday, September 15th

  • Make Up photos will be taken on Friday, September 16th and Monday, September 19th
