Dear Student and Parents,

Welcome to my class.  My name is Ms. April Wallis and I am so excited to be your teacher! Millbridge School is such a wonderful place to learn. This is my 15th year in Delran and my 21st year teaching.    I have been working all summer preparing for my new students as well as getting our classroom ready for a fun and fabulous new school year!

My daughter Abby and I have been busy all summer long traveling to exciting places and also working hard in our Millbridge Summer School program.  We have visited Washington D.C., have hiked in The Valley of Fire, visited Philly, enjoyed the Jersey Shore, vacationed in Lake George, NY, and enjoyed relaxing at the Larchmont Swim Club.  I love to take pictures of all the wonderful places we go and then write about the fun things we did.  One of my favorite things to do at home is bake.  I make homemade cookies, cakes, and ice cream.  But you really must know that my favorite delicious sweets to bake are cupcakes!  They are the perfect size and just the right amount of sweetness.

This school year I have the opportunity to work closely with the students in Mr. Flamini's classroom.  I provide In-Class Support as well as Pull-Out Resource for my classified students with IEP's.  Mr. Flamini's Class has developed a Classroom Constitution in which the class has made a promise to follow the rules we have created together in a respectful, well-mannered way.  In addition, we will be using out traffic light signal to check out individual behaviors.  I am confident this method will help you do a great job and as a result you will have a great time at school learning.  Our class is a busy place and we will have considerable fun!  It is important for everyone to cooperate, use good manners, and try their best so that we have many more opportunities for fun stuff too!

Make sure to have your parents take a look at my website by going to www.delranschools.orgselect Millbridge School, teachers,  and look for my name. When you click on my name it will bring you right to our class website. There are lots of fun things to look at on the website

Please feel free to email me if you or your parents have any questions or concerns. Here is my email address:

Again, I am so excited and I know this is going to be a great year.  Please thank your parents, in advance for me, for giving me this opportunity to teach you and for all their support.  Working together as a team, we will make this school year productive, successful, and enjoyable.
